Job summary

The One Group is hiring a Server Assistant to support our service team at the Manhasset location in New York. You’ll help ensure tables are prepared, meals are delivered promptly, and guests receive an exceptional dining experience.

You’ll anticipate guest needs, assist servers, run food and drinks, and help maintain cleanliness and setup between courses. This role rewards teamwork, strong communication, and a guest-first hospitality mindset.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Basic English for guest interactions.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service and create memorable dining experiences.
• Work with servers to deliver food and answer guest questions.
• Run food and drinks accurately and place tables properly.
• Pre-bus, clear, reset tables between courses.
• Maintain cleanliness of service areas and dining spaces.
• Stock service stations and assist front-of-house tasks.
• Communicate effectively with team to boost efficiency.
• Follow health and sanitation regulations in the workspace.
