Job summary

Carls Jr. is seeking a guest-focused, hands-on Assistant General Manager to support leadership operations in the Glendale and Sun Valley areas of Los Angeles County.

You will work with the GM to direct daily shift operations, coach team members, manage labor and food costs, and maintain a clean, safe guest-friendly environment. Onboarding includes a 4–6 week training program at a corporate-operated restaurant before returning to your home store.

Qualifications

• Two years of restaurant operations experience.
• Strong leadership and guest-service focus.
• Ability to coach, train and develop team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist GM in directing daily restaurant operations.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and safety policies.
• Manage scheduling, inventory, and labor costs with GM.
• Provide training and coaching to staff across shifts.
• Monitor customer service and resolve escalated issues.
• Support store-wide marketing initiatives and performance reviews.
