Job summary

Carl’s Jr. is seeking a guest-focused, hands-on Assistant General Manager to support leadership operations in Los Angeles County, serving Glendale and Sun Valley areas.

You will work with the GM to direct daily shift operations, coach team members, manage labor and food costs, and uphold a clean, safe guest environment. During a 4–6 week onboarding at a corporate-operated restaurant, you’ll train before transitioning to a home store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years experience in restaurant operations.
• Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, and weekends.
• Must maintain reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance to travel between locations.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Brand Values while assisting the GM in building high performing employees.
• Execute the Performance Management process to ensure employees are set up for success.
• Partner with GM and HR to resolve employee relations and ensure compliance.
• Oversee shift operations including customer service, food prep, cleaning and stocking.
• Create schedules and manage inventory orders when the GM is unavailable.
• Ensure food safety standards are met during shifts and when present in the restaurant.
• Support store-wide plans and marketing initiatives and analyze sales and labor for margins.
