Job summary

The Line DC in Adams Morgan is seeking an exceptional Restaurant Manager to lead with integrity, vision, and a guest-first mindset. You will oversee daily operations across front and back of house, develop a high-performing team, and partner with culinary and marketing teams to drive guest traffic and profitability.

In this hands-on role you’ll manage floor operations, quality control, cost management, and staff development while ensuring compliance with LINE policies and health standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferred.
• At least three (3) years’ experience in a leadership role in the restaurant industry.
• Understanding of the Washington, DC market preferred.
• Experience in high-volume dining and fine dining background preferred.
• Strong ability in using MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word) and F&B software systems (POS and F&B procurement system).

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing all aspects of the restaurant, coffee shop and in room dining operations, including front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house coordination.
• Responsible for running floor shifts. Oversee opening, closing, and service procedures to ensure consistent quality and efficiency.
• Recruit, train, and develop a high‑performing team of servers, and support roles.
• Assist in providing operational oversight of the beverage program in collaboration with the beverage team, ensuring efficient daily execution, adherence to service standards, inventory management, and seamless coordination between front‑of‑house and beverage operations.
• Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and professional growth.
