Qualifications

• Warmly greets and seats guests.
• Takes guest information and provides accurate wait quotes.
• Interacts with waiting guests to make waits pleasant.
• Operates the electronic seating system to balance server rotation.
• Presents menus, informs guests of specials, and introduces servers.
• Communicates with managers about business fluctuations.
• Maintains clean, organized host stand and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests warmly and manage seating flow.
• Provide wait estimates and alternatives for guests waiting for tables.
• Assist waiting guests including children with comfortable waiting options.
• Run the seating system to ensure proper server rotation.
• Present menus, share specials, and coordinate with servers.
• Update managers on guest flow and table status.
• Keep host area clean, stocked, and organized for smooth operations.
• Answer menu inquiries and direct to-go guests as needed.
