AvantStay in Austin, TX is hiring a Front Desk Associate to be the face of our market office. The role focuses on in-person guest check-ins, coordinating deliveries, stocking supplies, and supporting local teams with market operations. You’ll work onsite, evenings and weekends, and must be detail oriented with strong communication.

Qualifications

• Guest-first attitude toward hospitality and guest experience.
• Broad range of technology experience including property management systems.
• Excellent communication skills with a broad range of stakeholders.
• Comfort working in a startup environment with empowerment to make decisions.
• Positive, self-starter mindset and ability to work in a team or independently.
• Desire to learn about short-term rentals and housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Conduct live check-ins for arriving guests, serving as the first impression of AvantStay.
• Receive, organize and stock deliveries of housekeeping and operational supplies.
• Lift, move, and organize office and storeroom areas.
• Guide guests through the AvantStay experience to ensure a great first impression.
• Maintain communication with the field team about arrivals and requests.
• Use technology to issue check-in instructions and close out Live Check-In cases in Salesforce.
• Support inventory duties, deliveries, and linen/consumables tracking.
• Keep the office and gathering spaces organized.
