Job summary

HHM Hospitality is seeking a Food Runner to serve and replenish food items, maintain cleanliness, and ensure smooth register operations. You will greet guests, handle guest transactions, and support front- and back-of-house functions to ensure an excellent guest experience.

The role emphasizes strong interpersonal communication, ability to work flexible hours including holidays, weekends, and evenings, and maintaining high sanitation standards in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a food service environment is strongly preferred.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including holidays, weekends, and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Restaurant Manager for daily tasks.
• Greet and acknowledge guests as they enter the restaurant with a warm and welcoming manner.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness.
• Assist in storing deliveries.
• Stock all condiments and utensils in the beverage area.
• Filing of coffee and teapots.
• Know front and back of house, storage area and ice room.
• Maintain appearance of patio furniture and opening/closing of umbrellas.
• Pull in signs and shut down the Food Pavilion.
• Know menu pricing, locations of items and specials.
• Know how each product is prepared along with its condiments.
• Operate all line equipment.
• Report safety issues and quality/spoilage issues.
