Job summary

Mom's Pizza and Pasta is seeking a Food Runner to join our busy restaurant team. You will be the link between the kitchen and the wait staff, setting and clearing tables, delivering food, and ensuring smooth front-of-house operations.

If you’re friendly, hardworking, and eager to break into the hospitality industry, we want to hear from you. As a Food Runner, you will serve meals and drinks efficiently, communicate orders to the kitchen, refill drinks, and help maintain a clean dining area.

Qualifications

• Experience as a busser, barback, food runner, or similar position is preferred.
• Familiarity with food safety guidelines.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Friendly and outgoing personality.
• Availability to work evening and weekend shifts.

• Serve customers their meals and drinks in an efficient manner
• Communicate food orders to the kitchen staff
• Refill drinks
• Wipe down tables, chairs, and other surfaces
• Remove tablecloths and reset tables
• Remove dirty dishes, glasses, and silverware from tables
