Job summary

Ruth’s Chris Steak House in Durham, NC is seeking a Food Runner to support service staff by delivering meals to guests, maintaining food quality, and ensuring timely presentation. You will assist kitchen and service teams to optimize the dining experience and uphold safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent guest service skills and a strong work ethic.
• Understanding of proper food handling and sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Reports to work in uniform and on station as scheduled.
• Set up front line with equipment and keep it stocked throughout the shift.
• Read orders, track cooking times, and ensure proper plating and presentation.
• Coordinate with broil and pantry to time hot and cold items for guests.
• Deliver food to tables and assist servers to ensure prompt service.
• Assist with Take Out and curbside deliveries as needed.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and departmental guidelines.
