Job summary

Ruth's Chris Steak House in Annapolis, MD is seeking a Food Runner to support service staff and kitchen teams. You will pick up food for orders, deliver meals to guests, and assist with maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and timing to enhance the dining experience.

The role requires attentiveness to tickets, coordination with stations, and adherence to safety guidelines. It involves standing for long periods and lifting packages as needed.

Responsibilities

• Reports to work in correct uniform and on time.
• Sets up the front line with equipment and supplies; keeps station restocked.
• Reads order tickets, tracks cooking times, checks doneness and presentation.
• Coordinates with broil/pantry to time and serve hot and cold items.
• Delivers food to tables and assists servers to ensure guests are served promptly.
• Carries Take Out and Delivery items to curbside as needed.
• Follows safety, health, and sanitation guidelines; reports unsafe conditions.
