Job summary

Sarku Japan is seeking Crew Members to join our team in New York. You will deliver exceptional customer service while supporting restaurant operations across guest service, food preparation, and cooking.

You will work in a fast-paced environment focused on quality, cleanliness, teamwork, and continuous improvement (Kaizen). Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, preparing ingredients, cooking items to Sarku Japan standards, and maintaining sanitation.

Qualifications

• Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Food service or customer service experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a positive and welcoming attitude
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Prepare fresh ingredients and maintain food preparation stations
• Cook menu items according to Sarku Japan recipes and standards
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards at all times
• Keep kitchen and service areas clean and organized
• Restock inventory and supplies as needed
• Support team members during busy periods
• Deliver a high-quality guest experience with every interaction
• Follow all company procedures, policies, and operational standards
• Other duties as assigned
