Job summary

Dodge Ridge Ski Resort in Pinecrest, CA, is hiring a Food & Beverage Cashier to deliver friendly, efficient service and process transactions accurately at the front of house.

The role requires handling cash and card payments, stocking beverages and snacks, and maintaining a clean, organized dining area while following safety and company policies. Training will cover Toast POS and SOPs for guest service.

Qualifications

• Able to learn a computerized POS system (Toast) and process cash/card transactions.
• Excellent customer service with a courteous, time-efficient approach.
• Must be well groomed with a professional public image.
• Good physical condition for stocking, lifting, and standing.
• Capable of maintaining cleanliness and safe food handling procedures.
• Knowledge of food/beverage pricing and cross-service knowledge.
• Must have California Food Handlers Card / ServeSafe certification and RBS knowledge.
• Punctual, honest, and able to exercise good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service while interacting with guests in a courteous, timely manner.
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately using Toast POS.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest, co-worker, and business information.
• Maintain knowledge of food and beverage offerings and prices.
• Assist with stocking beverages, snacks, and grab-n-go items.
• Keep dining areas stocked, clean, and tidy; follow safety procedures.
• Keep service counters clean and organized.
• Ensure compliance with department and company policies.
• Possess or obtain California Food Handlers Card / ServeSafe and RBS certification.
• Be punctual, honest, and maintain professional conduct.
