Job summary

MCR is seeking a friendly Server to provide prompt, accurate food service to guests. You will take orders, serve food and beverages, and handle payment in a fast-paced hotel setting.

The role requires a positive attitude, reliable attendance, and the ability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends. Training will cover menu knowledge, safety, and customer service to ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Work experience in a hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow instructions, assigned tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Always provide friendly service with a smile to guests.
• Flexible schedule with availability days, nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Must arrive and clock in on time for every shift; clock out at scheduled end time.
• Provide sufficient notice when calling out for a scheduled shift.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and describe food and beverage options clearly.
• Deliver items quickly from kitchen to tables with order accuracy.
• Input orders into POS and secure accurate payment.
• Prepare coffee and other beverages.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables as needed.
• Observe guests and respond to requests in a timely manner.
• Complete daily inventory prep sheet and other side work as required.
• Maintain knowledge of current food and beverage offerings.
• Escort guests to tables as needed.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and handling policies, dating, labeling, and cleaning.
• Help maintain restaurant and surrounding area cleanliness.
• Demonstrate knowledge of hotel hours and available amenities.
