Job summary

MCR is seeking a Red Bar Server at the Chicago area hotel to provide prompt, friendly, and accurate food service to guests. You will take orders, serve items, and complete payments while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, delivering orders, handling the POS, preparing coffee, and keeping tables and spaces clean. A flexible schedule and team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hospitality or service field preferred.
• Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines.
• Always provide friendly service with a smile.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Must clock in/out on time and follow the schedule.
• Provide notice as directed when calling out.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and describe food and beverage options.
• Deliver orders quickly to tables.
• Input orders into POS and process payments.
• Prepare coffee and other drinks.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables for dining.
• Observe diners and respond to requests.
• Complete daily inventory prep sheet and side work.
• Know current menu and offerings.
• Escort guests to tables as needed.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and cleanliness policies.
• Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant and surrounding areas.
