Job summary

Total Wine & More in Brentwood, MD is seeking a Service Team Member to help drive sales by engaging customers, advising on products, and delivering outstanding service. You may also handle merchandising, front-end tasks, and curbside pickup duties as needed.

You will gain product knowledge through wine, spirits, and beer trainings, stay informed about promotions and loyalty programs, and help maintain store safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-3 years of work experience, 1+ years in retail preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maximize product inventory, including processing freight, organizing and distributing inventory, pulling and stocking merchandise, building displays and end caps, placing signage, and supporting digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in-store and curbside pick-up and delivery services.
• Deliver exceptional service and a personalized experience by greeting customers, engaging to build relationships, and informing about products and services.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol and maintain a safe and compliant store environment.
• Complete cross-functional responsibilities as assigned and perform other duties as assigned.
• Load and deliver orders in a safe and professional manner, following company policies and procedures and abiding by all traffic and safety laws - if delivery is added as an essential job function.
