Potbelly Sandwich Works in Naperville is seeking a part-time Team Member to deliver fast, friendly service in a busy kitchen and dining area. You will help prepare quality sandwiches and snacks, operate the register, and engage with customers to ensure a positive dining experience.

Eligible applicants are at least 16 years old, capable of standing for extended periods, and willing to obtain required food-safety certification within 30 days of employment.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years old.
• Friendly, customer-first mindset.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a bustling kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Work multiple stations as directed by a Shift Leader or Manager.
• Follow health and safety standards for food, cleanliness and safety.
• Restock food line, chips and cooler.
• Prepare finished products efficiently (sandwiches, salads, soups, baked goods).
• If 18 or older, use of the automatic slicer.
• Clean tables, counters, floors, bathrooms, kitchen and utensils; take out trash.
• Operate cash register and handle cash procedures.
• Handle customer complaints/issues effectively.
• Take delivery/catering/pickup orders over the phone.
• Other duties as assigned.
