Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Guest Service Supervisor to oversee staff, coach team members, greet guests, and uphold store standards for safety, quality, and operations. The role includes cash handling, POS operation, inventory replenishment, and addressing guest inquiries to ensure a seamless shopping experience.

The position requires flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, or holidays, and is located in a retail environment with access to all store areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for the position.
• Ability to freely access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area.

Responsibilities

• Supervise employees to ensure they perform duties set by management.
• Coach employees by giving constructive feedback to improve performance.
• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality, and store policies and practices.
• Operate the point of sale and maintain cash levels.
• Ensure store housekeeping is maintained (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash removal).
• Ensure 24/7 execution of guest service programs and processes.
• Manage cash processes including deposits, lottery, gift cards, and checks where applicable.
• Replenish products to maintain in-stock conditions.
• Address guest inquiries and complaints.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
