Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Guest Service Associate in Rhode Island to deliver exceptional guest experiences and support store operations. You will greet guests, operate the POS, manage cash and tobacco levels, and perform routine housekeeping to ensure a safe, welcoming environment.

Flexibility for varied shifts is required. Responsibilities include replenishing stock, communicating guest needs to management, vendor check-ins, and assisting with onboarding and training.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work flexible hours that may include day, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures (outdoors, cooler, etc.).
• Ability to climb ladders & stairs, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to freely access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area.
• Perform duties of the job in a timely manner.
• You must be able to count, read and write accurately to complete required paperwork.
• Support GSA onboarding and training.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality and store operations policies and procedures.
• Operate the point of sale per corporate standards; maintain cash, lottery, and tobacco levels.
• Complete store housekeeping functions (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash).
• Replenish products and supplies ensuring in-stock conditions at all times.
• Communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Minors may ONLY use OSHA approved knives.
