Job summary

Global Partners LP in Smithfield, RI seeks a Guest Service Associate to elevate the guest experience and handle core store duties. You will greet guests, operate the POS, maintain cash, and support housekeeping and stocking to ensure a ready, welcoming store environment.

The role requires flexibility to work various hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, with reliable transportation and basic computer skills. Training and onboarding support are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and cash handling.
• Able to operate POS and handle cash and lottery.
• Basic computer skills for daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality and store policies.
• Operate the point of sale per corporate standards; maintain cash levels.
• Complete store housekeeping and merchandising tasks.
• Replenish products and supplies to keep in-stock conditions.
• Communicate guest requests to management and vendors.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Assist with gas tank inventory and assigned projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Minors may only use OSHA approved knives.
