Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Guest Service Associate to drive a top-notch guest experience and support store-level tasks in Rhode Island. You’ll greet guests, operate the POS, maintain cash controls, and ensure in‑stock conditions while supporting safety policies.

This role supports vendors, merchandising projects, and general housekeeping to keep the store running smoothly. Flexible hours, physical fitness for daily tasks, and reliable transportation are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work flexible hours including day, nights, weekends or holidays.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures outside and in-store spaces.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 25 lbs and navigate store areas.
• Accurate counting, reading and writing for required paperwork.
• Support new hire onboarding and training.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Adhere to safety, security and store operations policies.
• Operate the point of sale per corporate standards and handle cash, lottery, tobacco levels.
• Complete all store housekeeping and replenish products to keep in‑stock conditions.
• Communicate guest requests and vendor concerns to management.
• Check in vendors and conduct gas tank inventories and merchandising projects.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
