• Aim for at least five items per bag while preventing damage.
• Bag items using best practices for reusable, plastic and paper bags.
• Assist in retrieving merchandise from bascart for checkout.
• Assist customers loading bags into their car.
• Return merchandise to store shelves.
• Collect bascarts and return them to designated areas.
• Know the store layout to locate products and check prices for cashiers.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
• Display a positive attitude.
• Stay up-to-date with current and upcoming ads.
• Follow food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Enforce safety procedures and report unsafe conditions.
• Inspect equipment and report needed repairs.
• Notify management of accidents.
• Clean spills and collect trash inside the store and parking lot.
• Clean all areas inside and outside the store.
• Report safety risks or illegal activity such as robbery or theft.
• Collaborate with front-end associates to encourage teamwork.
• Follow local, state and federal laws and company guidelines.
