Qualifications

• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Prior experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk.

Responsibilities

• Greet, engage, and assist customers.
• Process POS transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Understand and operate POS system and handle tenders per policy.
• Adhere to cash handling limits and prevent loss.
• Follow guidelines for restricted sale items.
• Report pricing discrepancies to the Scan Coordinator.
• Follow policies for stamps, gift cards, and coupons.
• Stay current with ads and promotions.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and safety procedures.
• Identify unsafe conditions and notify management.
• Inspect equipment and report repairs.
• Provide helpful answers about products and store services.
• Adhere to laws and company guidelines.
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment.
• Manage conflicts in a calm, cooperative manner.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding information.
• Follow directions and seek help to resolve issues.
