• Check product quality and review sell-by dates, taking appropriate action.
• Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise.
• Report ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager.
• Display a positive attitude and stay current with ads.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Ensure proper temperatures in cases and coolers and maintain temperature logs.
• Reinforce safety programs by identifying unsafe conditions and notifying management.
• Inspect equipment and notify managers of items needing repair.
• Notify management of accidents and report safety risks or illegal activity.
