Job summary

The Savannah Convention Center is seeking a part-time Guest Services Specialist to greet guests, answer questions, and assist with events on-site. The role emphasizes excellent customer service, effective communication, and a friendly demeanor in a fast-paced venue environment.

Responsibilities include assisting guests, directing to destinations, and supporting staff with ticketing and coat/bag check, using iPads for surveys and information delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of hospitality experience or pursuing hospitality degree.
• Able to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide a warm, genuine welcome and farewell.
• Answer questions about events, SCC campus, and downtown Savannah.
• Escort guests to destinations and relay information about SCC services and amenities.
• Assist with ticket taking, ushering, and coat/bag check as needed.
• Monitor information desks/kiosks and assist with guest surveys using iPad.
