Robert Andrew Salon & Spa in Gambrills, MD, seeks high-energy, detail-oriented individuals to join our front-of-house team as Guest Experience Specialists. This luxury oasis offers a premier concierge experience, with a fountain check-in and premium amenities; you will handle scheduling via Phorest and ensure a seamless guest journey.

Starting pay $16.00 per hour during the 30-day training, with a guaranteed step-up to $17.00 per hour after training and evaluation.

• Experience: Previous background in retail, hospitality, luxury hotels, upscale restaurants, medical front desks, or high-end concierge environments is highly preferred.

Position Overview

Guest Experience Specialists

This position serves as the premier face of our brand. You will act as a luxury concierge, ensuring that every guest interaction—from check-in by our signature fountain to automated appointment booking—reflects world-class hospitality.

Compensation & Career Growth

• Starting Pay: $16.00 per hour during the initial 30-day training and introductory period.
• Guaranteed Step-Up: Upon successful completion of training and a satisfactory 30-day performance evaluation, your hourly rate increases immediately to $17.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

1. Guest Experience & Luxury Hospitality

• Welcome and greet guests warmly upon arrival, creating an exceptional, positive first impression.
• Escort guests to our premium salon or spa lounges while offering luxury amenities and complimentary beverages.
• Anticipate guest needs proactively, ensuring every visit is seamless, personalized, and memorable.
• Uphold Robert Andrew’s high standards of visual presentation, personal professionalism, and guest care.

2. Front Desk & Technology Coordination

• Manage incoming multi-line telephone inquiries promptly, professionally, and with a solutions-oriented approach.
• Schedule, modify, and confirm guest appointments accurately utilizing our premium salon software (Phorest).
• Coordinate smooth daily floor operations by communicating seamlessly with salon stylists, spa providers, and independent resident artists.
• Process guest check-ins and checkouts efficiently, accurately handling cash, credit cards, and gift card transactions.

3. Facility Presentation & Ambiance Management

• Take pride in maintaining a spotless, inviting, and uncluttered front desk, waiting lounge, and retail display arena.
• Prepare, stock, and monitor spa amenities, relaxation areas, and guest spaces to preserve our signature luxury environment.
• Execute standard opening and closing procedures to ensure the facility is continuously guest-ready.
• Demonstrate floor initiative—identifying and addressing presentation needs proactively throughout the shift.
