Job summary

The Whitley in Atlanta, part of HEI Hotels and Resorts, is seeking a Front Desk Agent/PBX Operator to provide exceptional guest service and manage front office communications on-site. You will handle arrivals and departures, assist guests with requests, and coordinate with security and operations to ensure smooth hotel operations.

Ideal candidates have hotel experience, strong communication skills, and a professional demeanor for high-pressure moments.

Qualifications

• Hotel front desk experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to greet guests warmly and handle requests professionally.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone calls promptly and route to correct extensions.
• Greet guests, assist with arrival and departure and verify guest details.
• Input and retrieve messages, wake-up calls, and follow-up as needed.
• Serve as dispatcher for security, guest services and operations teams.
• Input guest information, assign rooms and code electronic keys.
• Process payments, credits and currency exchanges accurately.
• Resolve guest issues and complaints with courtesy and urgency.
• Promote HEI Hotels and Resorts programs and brand services.
