Job summary

Landry's Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino in Stateline, NV is seeking a Front Desk Agent to warmly welcome guests, register arrivals, verify reservations, and process payments. You will guide guests to accommodations and answer inquiries while upholding brand standards and the KEeP values.

This role requires guest-focused service, clear communication in English, and the ability to work in a fast-paced hotel environment. Benefits are offered and opportunities for advancement exist.

Qualifications

• Previous work experience as a front desk agent, reservations or hotel cashiering experience preferred
• Must be guest oriented and have excellent customer service skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills essential as majority of work time is spent interacting with hotel guests and staff
• Must be able to speak English

Responsibilities

• Verifying reservation information, registering guests, and securing payment for hotel guests upon arrival
• Orientating guests to hotel, providing general information, and responding to guest inquiries
• Maintains a cash bank and processes cashier transactions and daily deposits
• Posting guest charges to established hotel accounts
• Cashier operations including cash and credit card settlements
• Sales and redemption of hotel gift certificates
• Accessing system for input of hotel reservations and explaining player rating system to guests
• Ensure conduct per Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and company policies
• Delivering positive, courteous, and professional guest service in all interactions
• Commitment to responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service
• Performing any other duties as assigned
