Job summary

Highgate Hotels in Morgan Hill (Residence Inn Morgan Hill) is seeking a Guest Service Agent to provide attentive front desk service, check-in/check-out, and guest assistance throughout the stay. You will handle inquiries, promote hotel offerings, and ensure smooth operation of desk systems with a courteous, friendly demeanor.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, answering questions about services and local attractions, processing packages, and maintaining daily shift records.

Qualifications

• College coursework helpful but not required; high school diploma or equivalent is expected.
• Customer service experience preferred; ability to greet guests warmly and resolve inquiries.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and multitask calmly during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests at the Front Desk in line with hotel standards.
• Operate PBX console and ensure front desk procedures meet brand expectations.
• Answer guest inquiries about services, hours, and local attractions promptly.
• Log and deliver packages, mail, and messages to guests and meeting rooms.
• Balance shift paperwork and close out cashier or desk activities accurately.
• Maintain knowledge of rates, packages, promotions, in-house groups, and restricted dates.
