Job summary

Global Partners LP in Shelton is seeking a Guest Service Associate to deliver top-notch guest experiences and support store-level tasks. You will greet guests, operate the POS, keep shelves stocked, and collaborate with management on guest requests.

Responsibilities include adhering to safety policies, performing housekeeping, stocking, and assisting with vendor check-ins. Flexible hours and reliable transportation are required for this on-site role.

Qualifications

• Flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures outside or in a cooler.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Operate the point of sale pursuant to corporate standards; maintain proper cash, lottery, tobacco levels.
• Complete all store housekeeping functions (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash, etc.).
• Replenish products and supplies ensuring in-stock conditions at all times.
• Communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns.
• Check in external and internal vendors per established guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
