Job summary

Target is seeking a friendly Guest Advocate to assist guests, process transactions, and promote store services. You will welcome guests, help them find products, explain benefits, and ensure a positive checkout experience in a fast-paced retail setting.

There is emphasis on teamwork, adaptability to varying shifts (including nights and weekends), and using Target's digital tools to enhance guest satisfaction. Training is provided to develop product knowledge and service skills.

Responsibilities

• Create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience by delivering on commitments.
• Greet guests at appropriate distances and initiate warm interactions.
• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues for a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you and accuracy in processing.
• Support teammates and assist peers to maintain a positive work environment.
• Be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering; guide guests to enroll and use features.
• Handle returns or exchanges following store policies and escalate when needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and restock as required.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety compliance and adherence to policies.
• Process checkout operations and assist with cash handling when necessary.
