Job summary

Target is hiring a Guest Advocate to deliver a welcoming, fast and friendly guest experience in-store. You will greet guests, help them find items, resolve issues, and process transactions while maintaining a positive attitude and helping teammates.

You should be comfortable with flexible hours, staying calm in a busy environment and explaining benefits and digital tools. Training will onboard you on store operations and loyalty programs.

Qualifications

• You enjoy interacting and helping others - including guests that shop our store and fellow team members you work with.
• You thrive in a fast-moving, highly active and physically demanding role, where teamwork, flexibility, and creative problem solving are key to success.
• You are open to working a flexible work schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays and other peak shopping times).

Responsibilities

• Create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience by delivering on commitments.
• Greet guests with a smile and warm, helpful interaction at 10ft/4ft.
• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues for a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you.
• Support team efforts and assist peers while staying positive and respectful.
• Understand and explain benefits, offerings and services to guests.
• Demonstrate the Target service standard and promote loyalty programs.
