My Place Hotel in Redding, CA is seeking a friendly Guest Services Representative to be the first point of contact for guests from check-in to check-out. You will handle reservations, record charges accurately, provide local area information, and resolve guest concerns with professionalism while maintaining front desk records and safety protocols.

The role requires basic computer skills, strong communication, organization, dependability, and meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with guests and colleagues.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks with accuracy and organization.

• Meticulous approach to ensure accuracy in financial transactions and records.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, check-in/out, manage reservations, and record room, tax, and store charges per policy.
• Provide information on hotel amenities, local attractions, restaurants, and churches; resolve issues professionally.
• Operate phone system, take and transfer calls, and manage wake-up calls with proper etiquette.
• Handle credit card authorizations and cash transactions; provide change as needed.
• Prepare Night Audit Checklist, keep front desk logs, and report issues to the General Manager.
• Inspect property for safety; ensure lighting and doors are secure and exterior areas are clear of snow/ice.
• Promote Stay Rewarded Loyalty Program to boost guest loyalty and satisfaction.
• Assist with housekeeping tasks as needed, restocking supplies, and supporting the coffee/break areas.
• Deliver guest supplies (cribs, towels, soap) and manage master keys for staff.
