Job summary

Jack in the Box is hiring to deliver a WOW guest experience through quality food, friendly service, and a clean dining environment. This role requires standing most of the shift, handling orders and cash, and adapting to a fast-paced environment in a busy restaurant.

You will ensure timely and accurate orders, resolve guest concerns using the CARE model, and help train new team members while maintaining a professional appearance and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior.
• Standing and walking 90-95% of shift.
• Lift and carry up to 65 lbs.
• Take guests’ orders, operate a cash register, and read video monitors.
• Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Delivers a “WOW” guest experience by providing quality food, great service, and a clean restaurant.
• Ensure timeliness, quality, and accuracy of all orders; convey urgency.
• Handle guest complaints using CARE: courtesy, apology, resolution, extra effort.
• Interact respectfully with diverse groups and avoid biases.
• Maintain cleanliness and neat appearance; train/new employees as assigned.
• Follow instructions, stay productive, and be flexible to manage restaurant scheduling.
