Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Guest Service Associate to deliver top-notch guest experiences at our Connecticut store. You will greet guests, operate the POS, maintain stock, and support store operations with a strong focus on safety and customer care.

Flexibility in schedule is required, with potential shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. The role emphasizes teamwork, reliable transportation, and the ability to handle physical tasks in a retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work flexible hours that may include day, nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to climb ladders, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift/carry up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality and store operations policies and practices.
• Operate the point of sale and maintain cash/lottery/tobacco levels.
• Complete store housekeeping and replenish products to ensure in-stock conditions.
• Communicate guest requests and vendor concerns to store management.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects as assigned.
