B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group is seeking a guest service associate for SpringHill Suites in Sterling, VA. You will help guests with reservations, check-ins and check-outs, and provide local information to ensure satisfaction while upholding SpringHill Suites standards.

The role involves varied shifts (AM/PM, weekends) and requires strong communication, a customer-first attitude, and teamwork across departments. Training and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years prior guest service experience required preferably in a hospitality setting. Excellent verbal communication skills needed. Attention to detail, customer focused and the ability to perform job duties in a fast paced environment.
• Prior experience in a Marriott brand hotel preferred.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 75 pounds on an occasional basis. EEO AA M/F/Vet/Disabled

Responsibilities

• Guest Service: Anticipates and responds to guests in a friendly and positive manner. Processes check-ins/check-outs, verifies billing, creates reservations, and handles special requests.
• Financial Results and Cost Control: Maximizes room revenues, monitors availability, and up-sells rooms and amenities; follows cash handling and cost-control procedures.
• Self/Workload Management: Plans, organizes and prioritizes work; attends department and hotel meetings.
• Safety/Risk Management: Maintains a clean, safe work area and follows emergency procedures.
