Job summary

The Big Chill 30A is hiring Guest Experience Specialists to warmly welcome guests, guide them through our venues, and ensure memorable visits. You will serve across multiple concepts, share knowledge about events, food and beverage options, and local 30A offerings. This role emphasizes CARES values and teamwork in a family-friendly environment.

We offer flexible scheduling for students and seasonal staff, with opportunities for advancement and a friendly, fast-paced workplace open year-round.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Able to operate technology systems (POS) and scheduling apps.
• Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests arriving at The Big Chill and provide best-in-class hospitality.
• Confidently guide, direct, and inform guests about offerings and local events.
• Exceed guest expectations by offering additional assistance and service.
• Maintain service areas and uphold safety and sanitation standards.
• Assist with bussing, cleaning, and basic upkeep of the venue.

Company Overview:

Join our Team! The Big Chill 30A is a family friendly entertainment complex located on historic 30A, nestled between Alys Beach and Seaside. Our venue hosts 5 restaurants, 3 bars, retail shops, an arcade, an amphitheater for live music and a 25’ LED Jumbotron for sports and movies. We are open year-round, from 7am to 10pm.

We are now hiring for the fall season! Our restaurant concepts include Nectar, Local Smoke BBQ, Duos, Mile Marker 15 and Tacklebox, all with unique menu offerings. We have both Full Time and Part Time positions available and offer flexible scheduling for students/seasonal employees.

Job Summary

The Guest Experience Specialist is the face of The Big Chill, providing exceptional service to ensure every guest feels welcomed, valued, and cared for throughout their visit. This role focuses on creating memorable experiences by addressing guest needs, resolving issues promptly, and going above and beyond to exceed expectations. Our Guest Experience Specialist embodies our CARES culture and is critical to the success of our property.
