The Big Chill 30A is seeking a Guest Experience Specialist to greet guests and ensure they feel welcomed, valued, and cared for throughout their visit. You will address guest needs, resolve issues promptly, and go above and beyond to create memorable experiences.

• Able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Basic math skills.
• Able to operate technology systems (POS, scheduling app).
• Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests arriving at The Big Chill.
• Confidently guide, direct, and inform guests.
• Excite guests by providing best in class hospitality.
• Be a subject matter expert on property offerings, events, food and beverage, and local offerings on 30a.
• Embrace and contribute to a family friendly experience.
• Exceed guest expectations by offering additional assistance and service throughout the visit.
• Maintain service areas and ensure the outlet is prepared before, during and after the shift.
• Uphold proper safety and sanitation standards.
• Basic bussing and cleaning duties as required.
• Contribute to the maintenance of all areas of the property.

Company Overview: Join our Team! The Big Chill 30A is a family friendly entertainment complex located on historic 30A, nestled between Alys Beach and Seaside. Our venue hosts 5 restaurants, 3 bars, retail shops, an arcade, an amphitheater for live music and a 25’ LED Jumbotron for sports and movies. We are open year-round, from 7am to 10pm.

We are now hiring for the fall season! Our restaurant concepts include Nectar, Local Smoke BBQ, Duos, Mile Marker 15 and Tacklebox, all with unique menu offerings. We have both Full Time and Part Time positions available and offer flexible scheduling for students/seasonal employees.

The Guest Experience Specialist is the face of The Big Chill, providing exceptional service to ensure every guest feels welcomed, valued, and cared for throughout their visit. This role focuses on creating memorable experiences by addressing guest needs, resolving issues promptly, and going above and beyond to exceed expectations.
