Job summary

Weis Markets is seeking a Customer Experience Associate to greet customers, answer questions, and resolve concerns in a prompt, friendly manner. You will operate the front-end cash register, bag merchandise, and ensure accurate transactions with cash, checks, electronic payments, and coupons.

A timely, courteous experience for every guest is expected in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include maintaining department cleanliness, following health and safety guidelines, staying informed

Qualifications

Education and/or experience completed or working towards a High School Diploma or GED.
No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

Smiles and greets customers, answers questions, and resolves concerns promptly, following policies to increase satisfaction.
Operates front-end scanning equipment and cash register; bagging and placing merchandise.
Manages transactions accurately, handles cash/credit/electronic payments and coupons; follows cash drawer procedures.
Maintains knowledge of weekly ads and store layout to answer questions.
Ensures department cleanliness and OSHA compliance; disposes of trash properly.
Cooperates with coworkers to ensure smooth department and store function.
Uses PPE as required (gloves, cutters, footwear, etc.).
May assist in other departments.
