Job summary

Weis Markets is seeking a Customer Experience Associate at our Bellefonte location to greet customers, answer questions, and process transactions at the front end. You will bag merchandise, operate the cash register, and help maintain store cleanliness and safety standards.

Successful candidates will be friendly, reliable, and able to work with a team. No prior experience is required, though HS diploma or GED is preferred; full training provided.

Qualifications

• Education and/or experience completed or working toward a High School Diploma or GED.
• No prior experience required.
• Ability to greet customers and resolve questions professionally within store policies.

Responsibilities

• Smiles and greets customers, answers customer questions and helps resolve concerns promptly.
• Operates front end scanning equipment and cash register; bagging and checkout.
• Maintains accurate transactions and proper cash handling, including coupons and payments.
• Follows tobacco and alcohol sale guidelines and health/safety requirements.
• Maintains knowledge of weekly ads, promotions and store layout.
• Supports department cleanliness and equipment maintenance.
• Collaborates with coworkers and supervisors to ensure smooth store operations.
