Job summary

Highgate Hotels in Honolulu is seeking a Guest Service Agent to deliver attentive, courteous service during check-in, stay, and checkout while maximizing room revenue and occupancy. The role requires welcoming guests, answering inquiries, handling reservations, and using the Front Desk computer system with professionalism.

A warm demeanor, good communication, and flexibility in hours are essential. A $300 sign-on bonus after 180 days and a comprehensive benefits package accompany full-time

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• College coursework in hospitality or related field helpful.
• Computer experience required.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome all guests approaching the Front Desk in accordance with Highgate Hotel standards.
• Maintain proper operation of the PBX console and ensure that all hotel standards are met (if applicable).
• Answer guest inquiries about hotel services, facilities and hours of operation in a timely manner.
• Balance and prepare individual paperwork for closing of shift according to hotel standards.
• Handle check-ins and checkouts in a friendly, efficient and courteous manner.
• Be familiar with all in-house groups and promotions.
