Job summary

Novecento is seeking friendly servers to create exceptional dining experiences. You will warmly greet guests, explain specials, and make tailored recommendations. You’ll take orders, input them into the POS system, and deliver meals promptly while maintaining a spotless dining area.

We value teamwork, attentiveness, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You’ll help across stations as needed and ensure guests leave delighted and eager to return.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate in the language(s) of our guests.
• Basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures.
• Ability to handle money and operate a POS system.
• Stand for long periods (up to 10 hours).
• Lift up to 50 pounds and move as needed.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment with a team orientation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests and provide a hospitable experience.
• Inform guests of specials and menu changes.
• Make recommendations and answer questions about food and beverages.
• Take and input orders into the POS system.
• Deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely manner.
• Maintain clean and sanitary restaurant environment throughout the shift.
• Ensure guests are satisfied and respond promptly to requests.
• Assist fellow staff as needed and clear/reset tables.
