Job summary

Novecento in Delray, West Virginia, is seeking a friendly server to create an exceptional dining experience for every guest. Your primary objective is a genuinely hospitable service.

Greet guests, describe specials, take and relay orders via the POS, deliver meals, and ensure cleanliness throughout the shift. You’ll support teammates and help maintain a fast, accurate, and welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Must communicate and understand guests' language(s).
• Basic knowledge of dining room procedures and functions.
• Ability to handle money and operate a POS system.
• Stand for long periods (up to 10 hours).
• Be able to reach, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests, make them comfortable, and take care of their needs.
• Inform guests of specials and menu changes.
• Make recommendations guests will enjoy and answer questions.
• Take orders from guests and enter them in the POS system; relay orders to kitchen and bar.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and maintain cleanliness throughout the dining area.
• Perform side work at start and end of shift; assist fellow servers and busser as needed.
• Ensure guests are satisfied with food and service and handle requests promptly.
