Job summary

Applebee's Neighborhood Grill + Bar is looking for a friendly Server to create a memorable dining experience by delivering food and drinks, greeting guests, and attentively caring for guests’ needs in a welcoming, upbeat environment.

You will use the POS system to relay orders, present checks, and help maintain a clean, organized dining area while coordinating with teammates to ensure prompt, courteous service for every guest.

Qualifications

• Must be able to greet guests, take orders, and provide friendly service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and assist teammates.
• Strong communication and basic math skills for handling payments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and drinks and ongoing service to guests.
• Greet guests, answer questions and make suggestions regarding food, drinks, and service.
• Interact with all guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere.
• Relay orders to service bar and kitchen via the POS system.
• Observe and serve guests, respond to needs or requests.
• Present guest checks and facilitate payment; handle cash or card procedures.
• Participate in clearing and resetting dining tables.
