Job summary

Applebee's Neighborhood Grill + Bar is seeking a server to Delight guests by exceeding expectations in a fast-paced dining environment. You will greet guests, explain the menu, take orders, and deliver food and beverages using our TEAM system, while maintaining a clean and welcoming setting.

The role requires excellent customer service, a proactive attitude, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends. Physical tasks include mobility for 4 hours and lifting up to 20 pounds.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and interacts with every guest to create a friendly upbeat work environment.
• Familiarize guests with the menu and make appropriate suggestions when requested.
• Take guests orders and input them correctly in the POS using the write, repeat and review rule.
• Serve food and beverages using the Applebee’s TEAM delivery system.
• Pre bus table and sweep the surrounding area to keep it clean and comfortable.
• Collect payment from customers in a timely manner using the QR code or POS.
• Completes daily cleaning work tasks and maintains a clean and safe working environment.
• Anticipate guests' needs in order to facilitate an enjoyable dining experience.
