Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Guest Service Associate to elevate guest experience and support store-level tasks across our location network. You will greet guests, process transactions, maintain safety and merchandising standards, and assist with vendor coordination and inventory. Flexibility to work various hours is required.

The role involves cash handling, POS operation, and routine housekeeping, with opportunities for growth through our Talent Development programs.

Qualifications

Experience delivering customer service in a retail environment.
Ability to operate POS systems and handle cash and lottery/tobacco as per policy.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone.
Adhere to the execution of established safety, security, quality and store operations policies, procedures, and practices.
Operate the point of sale pursuant to corporate standards; maintain proper cash, lottery, tobacco levels.
Complete all store housekeeping functions (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, etc.).
Replenish products and supplies ensuring in-stock conditions at all times.
Communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns.
Check in external and internal vendors per established guidelines.
Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management.
Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
Minors may ONLY use OSHA approved knives.
