Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Guest Service Associate in Massachusetts to greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience while supporting store operations. You will adhere to safety, security, quality, and store procedures and operate the point of sale according to company standards, maintaining cash, lottery, and tobacco levels.

The role requires flexibility for day/night/weekend/holiday shifts and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work flexible hours including day, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures outside/cooler.
• Ability to climb ladders, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area.
• Count, read and write accurately to complete required paperwork.
• Support onboarding and training for new hires.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Operate the POS and maintain cash, lottery, and tobacco levels.
• Perform store housekeeping functions.
• Replenish products and ensure in-stock conditions.
• Communicate with management on guest requests and vendor concerns.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
