Job summary

Commonwealth Lodging Management is seeking a friendly Restaurant Server to greet guests, take orders, and upsell items while delivering prompt, courteous service in our dining areas.

You will use a POS system to take orders, manage payments, and ensure guest satisfaction. A high school diploma or GED and good English communication are required; alcohol awareness certification is preferred. This role requires availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Alcohol awareness certification preferred.
• Good command of English and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional appearance with proper uniform and nametag.
• Foster positive guest relations and resolve complaints to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Communicate clearly with guests and team members.
• Upsell additional items when appropriate to enhance the guest experience.
• Accurately take food and beverage orders using POS systems.
• Verify guests' age for alcohol service per legal requirements.
• Deliver checks and process payments accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized dining area and reset tables as needed.
• Stay informed about hotel features, services, hours of operation, and promotions.
