Job summary

Generation Hospitality Group is seeking a friendly server for the restaurant/bar area of the Hyatt House Sacramento to uphold our hospitality standards and guest welcome. You will take and deliver orders, assist kitchen and bar staff, and ensure a smooth dining experience.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, presenting menus, recording special requests on the POS, and closing with proper cash handling. Maintain grooming standards and knowledge of available services throughout the resort.

Qualifications

• Requirements describe physical ability: stand/walk for long periods, lift up to 40 lb, obtain food handler and alcohol service cards or equivalent licensing.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests, presents menu, informs of specials and changes.
• Enters orders in POS, notes special requests.
• Coordinates with bus staff, kitchen, and bar to ensure smooth service.
• Serves food and beverages, ensures guest satisfaction.
• Maintains grooming and appearance standards.
• Communicates products and services available at the resort.
• Prints closing report and handles cash deposits per guidelines.
