Job summary

Renaissance Daytona Beach Oceanfront Hotel is hiring a part-time server to ensure guests have a superior dining experience. You will follow brand standards from the start to the end of the service cycle and use strong menu and beverage knowledge to make recommendations.

The role requires professional, gracious service and adherence to uniform expectations while supporting opening and closing duties, stocking, and maintaining a pristine dining room for guest enjoyment. This is a tipped position.

Qualifications

• Must have strong knowledge of menu and beverage/wine offerings.
• Provide excellent guest service with professional demeanor.
• Recommend items to guests to enhance dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Exhibits strong menu, beverage and wine knowledge and makes recommendations to guests on various offerings.
• Ensures that the guest experience is pleasant in regard to atmosphere, service, pace of dining and quality of food and beverage products by adhering to the Hotel's brand standards.
• Consistently adheres to the uniform standards and always looks clean, neat and professional.
• Handles all opening and/or closing duties required to properly operate meal period.
• Ensures that all stocking is done, the tables are properly set, and the dining room is clean and ready for service.
