Job summary

ValorHospitality in Starkville, Mississippi is seeking a friendly server to provide prompt, courteous food and beverage service. Greet guests, take orders, suggest menu items, and ensure a memorable dining experience.

Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, assist with opening and closing duties, handle payments accurately, and stay attentive to guests throughout their visit. A high school diploma and 3–6 months in food/beverage service are required, and TIPs certification is a must.

• 3–6 months experience in a food/beverage service environment.
• TIPs certification required.
• Must read, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Greet and take food and drink orders from customers, serving and accommodating special requests.
• Maintain cleanliness standards in dining areas and service stations.
• Assist with opening/closing side-work and restocking.
• Handle payments accurately and document checks clearly.
• Attend pre-meal and departmental meetings to improve product knowledge and service.
